MB Associates team brings a wealth of experience to our non-profit
clients. From years in the non-profit sector to lessons learned
from the corporate and political arenas, we offer different perspectives,
and different skills, than most other non-profit consulting firms.
Each team member has a diverse resume, and we carefully consider
which team member will be right for each project.

TANYA
MECK - Principal
Tanya Meck brings over ten years of experience in fundraising,
public relations and other strategic services to MB Associates,
LLC. Prior to founding MBA, Ms. Meck worked as a non-profit
development director, a political fundraiser and as a fundraising
consultant to individuals and organizations, including on-air
fundraising appearances for public television.
Ms. Meck has also served as Assistant Secretary of the State
and Chief of Staff for the Connecticut Secretary of the
State’s Office.

Ms.
Meck is a Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude graduate of
Drew University in Madison, New Jersey where she majored
in Behavioral Science and was an All-American athlete. Ms.
Meck earned her Master’s Degree in Public Policy Studies
from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
Listed
in Who’s Who of American Women, Tanya is active in
her community and serves as a Commissioner for Connecticut's
Permanent Commission on the Status of Women and a Board
Member of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University
where she chairs the Development Committee and serves on
the Finance Committee. She has also served as the Chairperson
of West Hartford Planning and Zoning Commission and was
a Commissioner for 8 years.
As a consultant, Ms. Meck’s clients have included
newly established non-profits, universities, museums, think
tanks, and direct service organizations. She has also worked
with state, regional and national organizations.

Betsy
Clarisey
Betsy brings extensive sales and marketing experience to MB
Associates from her work in the for-profit sector. She has
spent the last 10 years working with a variety of companies
including hospitals, consulting firms and professional associations.
Her responsibilities included recruiting prospective members
and employees, relationship building and cultivation, sales
presentations, trainings, public relations and corporate communications.
In her corporate work, Betsy routinely exceeded all established
sales goals and expectations.

Her sales and marketing background is uniquely suited to
the needs of MB Associate’s non-profit clients as
she combines the tried and true principles of non-profit
fundraising with the secrets of corporate success. Betsy’s
main focus is the event planning and management side of
the business, coordinating events ranging from non-profit
fundraisers to seminars to business outings.
A graduate
of the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT, Betsy
received her degree in Communications, with academic honors.
She currently resides with her husband and two sons in West
Hartford.

Lynne Tapper
Lynne
Tapper brings extensive event planning and organizational
experience to MB Associates from her work over the past
15 years in the non-profit and for profit sector. Lynne
has worked in a variety of positions at the Women's Sports
Foundation, ABC Sports, ESPN and the women's cable network,
Oxygen.

| Her
event planning experience includes non-profit and for-profit
sporting events, charity fundraisers, community events and
reunions. In addition to event planning, Lynne is a professional
organizer offering additional expertise in paper management
and file organization, time and schedule management, and
organizational solutions for the home or office.
She is a member of the National Organization of Professional
Organizers (NAPO), and the Connecticut NAPO Chapter. She
has consulted with Cross It Off Your List®, the New
York City organizing firm, for the past 10 years on various
organizational projects. She is the co-author of baby daze®,
an organizational log book for new parents that helps them
track all the important information associated with a newborn.
She
is also a head coach for Team Danskin Training® a program
that offers women an organized training system as they prepare
for sprint distance triathlons.
Lynne's planning and troubleshooting abilities combined
with her innate organizational mindset, make her an ideal
event management professional. A graduate of Connecticut
College in New London, CT, Lynne received her degree in
Sociology and Psychology. She currently resides with her
husband and two children in West Hartford, CT.
